REFUND POLICY – Arcmax Architects :
1. Scope of Services
Arcmax Architects & Planners provides architectural services in the following phases:
- Concept Design / Master Planning / Design Mockups
- Design Development
- Construction Drawings (GFC – Good for Construction)
Each phase is independent, progressive, and separately chargeable.
2. Advance Payment Terms
- A 50% advance payment is mandatory to initiate Concept Design / Master Planning services
- This advance secures project scheduling, design time allocation, and resource commitment
- The remaining balance is payable as per agreed milestones
3. Nature of Architectural Services
Architectural design services are creative, intellectual, and customized in nature.
Therefore:
- Once design work has commenced, the service is considered consumed in terms of time, expertise, and effort
- Payments made towards such services are non-refundable
4. Refund Policy
Non-Refundable Conditions:
No refund shall be applicable under the following circumstances:
- Once Concept Design work has been initiated
- After sharing of initial layouts, drawings, or design mockups
- During or after the revision process
- If delays arise due to lack of client inputs, approvals, or communication
- If the client chooses to discontinue the project mid-way
Limited Refund (Exceptional Case Only)
A refund may be considered only if:
- The project has not been initiated, and
- No design work has been started by Arcmax
In such cases:
- Administrative, consultation, and processing charges may be deducted
5. Revision Policy (To Avoid Disputes)
- The Concept Design phase includes limited revision rounds (typically 2–3)
- Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will be chargeable
- Once a design is approved, further changes will be treated as a new scope or next phase work
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
- Providing accurate site details and requirements
- Giving timely feedback and approvals
Any delay or change in direction from the client side will not qualify for a refund
7. Phase-Based Fee Structure
- Concept Design / Mockup fees are non-refundable and non-adjustable
- Construction Drawings are treated as a separate phase with separate fees and agreement
8. Project Termination
In case the client terminates the project:
- Fees for work completed up to that stage shall remain payable
- Any advance paid shall be non-refundable
9. Force Majeure
No refund shall be applicable in case of delays or disruptions caused by:
- Natural events
- Government regulations
- Unforeseen external circumstances beyond control
